WOO BROKE A LEAD!
« on: July 20, 2006, 12:56:50 AM »

well. its been about 2 years and 7 months since the monstrosity of 8 labs powers up in my venue. I had 1 failure immediatley that was warrantied.. and today when we pulled the boxes for a checkup and to put "anti wire cinch" bumpers behind the cabinets, we found a driver missing a lead.

Oddly enuff the broken lead was on one of the lower powered cabinets (qsc rmx4050HD vs. the vz5000 boxes).. anyways.. anyone else break leads yet Razz

?

I haven't Broken a lead but I have yanked a lead out of its crimp connector (It happened when I accidentally sent a clipped sine wave into a sealed Lab Sub Cab I built).

I decided to solder it to the clip,  You have to be careful though since the solder wicking can cause the lead to become inflexible.
