Has anyone noticed this chart of four 21" super scoopers made by Rog Mogale from speakerplans?  Please comment.

Actually, one super scooper is a bit smaller in volume than one labhorn.  I don't know how they sound, I just found it  searching for other horn plans.

I'm a little bit leary of a 21" driver, and scoops have never sounded good to me at high volumes, but that's strictly a subjective opinion.

From reading Rog's old comments (when speakerplans had a “Tripod” domain) the 21 inch version goes a little bit lower than the 18 version.

After reading your previous post,  (Playing your Lab Subs with the access panel off) its obvious, you want more "Midbass",  in which the Lab Sub wasn't designed to do.

I would suggest, going on speakerplans site, and ask the guys over there, what boxes are they using in conjunction to the lab subs, to deliver mid bass.

I remember someone (Don't remember the screen name) made a Dual HD 15 to sit on top of the Lab Sub, to deliver more midbass.

May try searching there.

Best Regards,

I was modelled this box with AJ Horn and Hornresp. The graph above, which you also can find on ROG's webpage was definitely made with 4 cabinets paralell! It means, that you have to do the math: -12dB from that response graph to get the real 1w 1m sensitivity equivalent for the 4 cabinets in paralell...

Sorry,, it seemed to good to be true, so I HAD to modell it...
Very Happy
