It is possible to "ignore" individual posters?

Subject line is billboarding... but it there a way to 'ignore', hide or otherwise suppress the postings of selected users?

This option is available in your personal profile.  You have two lists options:

Buddies
Ignore

A bit more action required than simply clicking the "ignore all messages by..." button on the old forum, but it is there for us.

It's a term from UseNet, where the subject line is (or could be) the totality of a posting.  Considered bad netiquette.
