Yorkville YX

Has anyone used them? They seem to be kind of like their performance (Y) series, but without the piezos. They're very cheap... do they compare to the Yamaha club series or to the BRs?

Here's an old one revisited...

Did anyone ever check these out?  Thinking of picking up a couple of the 10" versions as monitors for small acoustic shows.  Anyone hear them?

One of our customers came in and ordered a pair of the YX215 and a pair of the YX18S.  I got a chance to play with the 215's for about 20 mins before he picked them up.

Considering the price, I was impressed.  They'd make a great all-in-one box for someone on a budget.  The HF sounded more smooth and non fatiguing than other boxes in this price range.  The LF output was better than most single 15" but compared to the more "pro" boxes we have with the same topology I don't think they'd keep up.  But still...for the price...

He came back and told me he was happy with the subs because he rattled something off the wall in the bar...that's all I know about them.

Sorry I don't have anything more definitive...just a quick listen.
