Chauvet Mega-Strobe with Martin Freekie
« on: May 18, 2006, 07:20:06 pm »

I'm thinking about getting a few of these to use as a blinder effect. I was hoping to be able to use the strobe function on the Freekie to control them. I'm not sure how to set it up, but I think it goes like this:
1. set up strobe by following manual instuctions setting units to address of 145-156. Since this is a 2 ch device, I could use any 2 consective #s from 145-156, 145 being fader 1, 146 fader 2, etc
2. during playback, as long as the correct faders are pushed up all the way, blinder effect will turn on. This is assuming that the blinder effect is with both chnls running at full value. If this is the case, couldn't you set up the strobe button to be used as an effect for any DMX fixture, provided that the faders are set in the desired position during playback?
Sometimes I wish I had a clone of myself so I could enjoy life while my clone worked for me. Thing is, my clone would just keep the money, or worse yet, I would be working while he enjoyed my life!
