Networkable Audio Recorder
« on: May 04, 2006, 04:05:16 PM »

I'm looking for an audio recorder with analog inputs that can have the recordings accessible over a LAN.
The application is recording meetings and having the audio files available for burning to CD or streaming.
The unit also need to be controllable via RS-232 or either net.

I am aware of meeting recoding software like Soniclear but for some reason the customer does not want to have to deal with a computer but use a simple Crestron/AMX remote to start and stop recording.

Any suggestions.

Check out MediaPoint. They include video and they are a AMX partner.
