i was wondering if anyone has used either of these microphones as i was wondering which is best for the most gain before feedback and sound quality?

I'm not sure the subwoofer forum is the best place for this, Robert.

I've used both, and they both kill feedback pretty well. The CM-310 may have a slight advantage in that area, but if your performer moves even a little bit off the mic they'll thin out and then dissappear. With the OM 7, I find it's plenty tight while allowing for a little wiggle room.

I agree on your assessment. Additionally, the OM7 returns a more musical result. I say CM310 for punk/screamo/hardcore and similar; OM7 for any kind of performance with less insane stage volume.
