I decided against picking these up.  When it was called to my attention that the tweeter had a piezo driver, that was all I needed to know.  I already have a garage full of lower end speakers that I want to get rid of, so why should I buy more?  Thanks for the info.

Newer community gear from their Tandem Drive and XLTE series is a very safe bet, though.
