System Processor is Screwed!!!!!!!!
« on: September 21, 2004, 10:51:10 AM »

Hi all.
I've got a Community DSC42 System Processor at church. I just turned it on the other day and nothing came on to the screen accept for the back light. No read out on the screen nothing. Has anyone ever had this happen to you? Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this would happen. I know the instal company had a lock on it awhile back but, I don't know if this is the lock or what. But if anyone has any input on this subject I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks again

We've got a few of these in our system on the SLS boxes.  Once in a while when I go down by the racks to grab something I notice that one or more of them will be showing a blank screen.  However, they still function properly.  Everything sounds fine and delays are still operating.  Do you lose sound when yours go blank?

Contact the contractor and/or Community.  It is a failed part.

I agree...a call to either the installer or Community would be in order.  I have plans to do the same within the next couple of weeks.

As far as warranty work and things of the like, I've had excellent experience with Community.  They've usually taken a "no questions asked" approach.

Good Luck
