Tunings For EV Eliminator ii and JBL Mpro 255's
« on: December 22, 2005, 11:21:17 AM »

I have some gigs coming up and i want to get the delay set right on the tops.

Its bassicly a 2 way system and i want to delay just the tops. I crossover at 96Hz. I need to find tunings but i dont know where to start and i figured checking on here would be better than waiting a few days to find out from EV and JBL.

Once i do get the tunings for the two do i subtract them and the difernce is what i add in delay?

Im using a Behringer DCX2496, Someone told me it would be around 2ms for delay but i want to get it down to the bone.

Thanks.

This method works well:

If you are using a DRPA I don't know if it has a polarity switch on the outputs, so you may have to rig up a way to switch polarity to either the sub or top.

You can just hit the "Inverted polarity" button on the short delay page.
