heat from par cans
« on: November 23, 2005, 11:08:25 pm »

I'm currently using 2 or 4, 56 par can with 300w globes for pub gigs etc. But due to the standard ridiculously small stage and set-up limitations, they are generally within 2-3metres of the preformers and therefore way to hot.

If I got some par 38 or 46 cans would how hot would they be standing a couple of metres away. Would the width of the throw be dramatically less than the par 56.

cheers

it depends on the type of bulb you get. Just find a lower wattage bulb for your 56s that's a wide beam.
