Coverage problem
« on: November 11, 2005, 03:55:29 PM »

Hey guys I posted this in the church sound forum but maybe you can help. Which of these would provide the best coverage. I'm afraid (B) is not enough and (A) maybe too much.index.php/fa/3075/0/

What's the horizontal coverage in degrees of one speaker? Whats the width and length of the venue?

The measurements are 71'x63'x16' (LxWxH) and the speaker height is 14' and the speaker coverage is 60

Personally i would choose option A and pay close attention as to how they are splayed. Are they ground stack or flown? Option B doesn't seem to cover the side seating well enough, even with the 60 degree coverage pattern.

They are flown with two subs on the ground.

I'd still go with option a, but watch the splay angels
