So they don't break when you don't want them to...not that you would want them to....I guess.....I mean.... you wouldn't want them to break at an inopportune moment now would you?

Oh and a frayed cable is a bit like a kinked hose. You don't get your full water pressure through! Shocked

There you go...I thought of a good reason. Laughing

See, you can't rewrite, 'cause to rewrite is to deceive and lie, and you betray your own thoughts. To rethink the flow and the rhythm, the tumbling out of the words, is a betrayal, and it's a sin, Martin, it's a sin.

Yeah,I take a bunch of redundant stuff.I have an extra 4 channel amp in my amp rack.Enough adaptors and patch gizmos to hook anything up to anything, twice.I can always reconfigure things in the FOH rack to give me an extra EQ.I keep one of those Shure mic mixers handy, just in case.It has come in handy a few times just for extra channels....I keep a "DRUM KEY" with me at every job.I have loaned it many many times.Even used it myself.Allot!Knowing how to tune drums is a handy skill.I can't play them to save my life though.Sticks, strings, picks,a couple sturdy TV trays,fuses,etc..........Bennett is spot on about the batteries being like ciggarettes.Everybody knows you have them,so their always trying to bum em off you.But like he implied;they are a small price to pay for a hard working "instant rodie" Twisted Evil
