My Completed Full Range Cabinet
« on: October 18, 2005, 10:08:27 PM »

So it took a while but the cabinet is about 98.9% complete.

Took a few of them out for a test run the other day and I was definitely impressed with the results.

I didn't get to push them up the way i wanted to but then again all the processor settings havent been put in yet so i guessed it worked out to be a good thing after all Smile .

Thought i'd give you guys a peak at the finished product.  index.php/fa/2823/0/

Well for starters it is a trap box with a 60 X 40 degree dispersion

Components include:
(1) 15" LF
(1) 10" MF
(1) 1.4" HF CD

Outfitted with Neutrik NL8 Connectors

Box will be able to go from being a 3-way triamp cabinet to a 2-way biamp cabinet with the use of a switch that i havent installed yet.

thnx raj

The 10" is horn loaded (cant remember the cutoff freq. on the horn, i have to check the plans)

and the 15" is in a vented chamber tuned to about 63Hz.

horn loading the 15" would have made the box bigger & heavier than desired, so i stayed away from doing so. I did think about it for a short time though.

More details:

What brands of drivers did you use for each position?
Can we see a picture with the grille off?

ooops
sorry
i was supposed to come back and post some of this info
nothing special inside Smile

HF: Radian 475 PB Driver
On A DDS Horn

MF: EV DL10X speaker

LF: BNC 15PS76 speaker

All components are easily enough sourced.

As far as pics without the grill

I have to search around to see if i have a pic on this computer.

Hard drive crashed a few weeks ago with "MOST" if not all files pertaining to the FR-1. That includes many of the pics.

I will look around for more pics though.
