I've got a pair of these that I've had for years.  I pretty much only use them for "critical" listening plugs (like, if I actually need to hear what I'm mixing).  Otherwise, I pretty much always use the generic 30dB foamies, since they seal out everything!

I bought a pair of 20dB plugs last week.  I've been using them for Band practice, FOH, live performance, and weed whacking.  They work well and aren't to uncomfortable if I don't over insert them.  Attenuation still seems a little disproportionate, but I can have a normal conversation with them in which is very cool!!

    I think they are aye ohh Tay!
