Freaky room plot
« on: May 03, 2005, 06:09:06 pm »

Last night I was at a demo of a line array in a church, and the guy showed me a plot of a church in sydney he had done.

Standard setup with 2 long columns for left and right.

Then he added a small centre cluster and.... the results which were totally unpredictable and you couldn't really plan it if you tried...

He hit render.. and the room plot showed lots of orange, some red, some green.... and a small area right in the middle that whas white - meaning the hottest SPL spots in the room.

And that spot was shown as a perfect cross - the sort you find in a church ! Not like the + sign, a cross where it's midway between T and +.

I'm not naming the line array, church or company doing the plot but I saw it with my own eyes !
