i'd be interested in recommendations from the least expensive to state-of-the-art.  this would be a very small control room, big enough for 2 people, a desk and a rack, and just enough space to mix reasonably with near-fields.  in a room in a concrete warehouse in brooklyn with plenty of sound coming from studios upstairs (despite the fact that they are professionaly built), the rest of this floor and the stairwell and front door.
