Badfinger? Heads up...
« on: March 29, 2005, 01:23:29 PM »

Has anyone worked with Badfinger recently?  A local club is planning on booking them.

How many inputs, monitor mixes needed, etc.

Thanks!

It has been a few years for me doing them but it should be an easy day. I did them twice in a fairly short period of time and it was 3 pc straight up rock and roll. Nothing tricky at all and no surprises. Joey was the only original one there. Of course some are deceased.
Even if they added another guitar player any reasonably pro rig sized correctly for the venue should have no problem at all. Three or four monitor mixes should do it unless they have gone to ears but I sort of doubt it.
At any rate it should be a low stress show of some pretty good classic rock songs. Joey was the rocker of the group.

Thanks for the reply.  I am not sure if the show has offically been booked yet.  I know there is an offer on the table and the band needs the show for routing.

The PA system has been upgraded, Crest CA12's, SPL Trix's, custom subs etc. It is a small room (265 cap)
The monitors will be from FOH.  I can give them 4 seperate mixes.
