I've been contemplating an eaw sb1000 purchase when I came across this worx audio box.  It is essentialy a knock-off of an sb1000, almost exact same footprint.  The sensitivity listed is +2db more than (101db) the sb1000.  Is there anyone here that has these subs, or used them and can speak on behalf of them in comparison to an sb1000?  If so, please also tell me what drivers are they using?

Hi,

I worked in a 2200 seat performance hall that has four of these  WoodWorx subs, used two per side on the deck.  They were adequate for most regular shows, but more rocking shows brought in their own low end.

They are good boxes, but for the size and weight, I would consider horn-loaded.

Don't know what driver is in them and haven't heard the SB1000 that I know of to compare.
