Just like many of the people that were already on the forums before I joined seem to have a personal tie/understanding of each other more. it will happen with the other people again.
Post counts are mostly usefull for new users.  We get to know people soon enough from their post contents.

First, I'll say I'm not a huge fan of these forums.
Second, I'm not exactly happy with my post count of "1" now either.

Post count is a good measure of credibility, I think, and it will really hamper the forums if everyone is reset to zero.

That's the funniest thing I have read in along time.  Silas, when you stop posting here, you have a future in stand up.

I have to disagree, I could go spam the DJ forum and get 200 posts real quick and people are still gonna know that I am full of shit. :P

Just requesting your post count be transferred over. FUD ends end of Feb (last day is floating, heh), so say Feb 25th. However many posts you've got then, its possible just to plug in here. Its just a little setting, not hard to change. Post counts are simple as pie. Changing the post count for thousands of members will suck :) Same with join date.

Post counts really mean nothing IMHO. Some of us lurk more than post. Some have tons of posts from Bumping items (Silas). If i have ever had a doubt about someone I could go and read some of their older posts or I could ask others on the forum.  So if you are really worried about your post count it really makes me wonder if you may or may-not be as credible as we thought you maybe.

I'm pretty sure everyone is clear on this issue.

Hey Chad, with the pile already on your plate, do you really want to open that can ?
I agree with many others. Quantity doesn't automatically mean quality.
It's just a number. Get over it.

So...I look smarter since my post isn't comparatively low!  I'd better keep my mouth shut so that I continue to look smart for a few weeks.  ;D
