Hello
I'm new to the sound game, hence this question-

I want to wire up my amps outputs to NL4's. I ordered 12 ga 2 conductor speaker wire from a sound company.

Now in the rack my old band had, these conductors were separate and then our soundman used shrink to tidy it up.

The speaker wire I was sent- the conductors are already in the same cabling. It's just one black cable with a white wrap inside and then the conductors inside that.
Can I use this cable like this? To wire from my outputs to the NL4's?
Any help would be appreciated. I'm just learning but am really interested. Thanks

yes, there is no problem at all using it like this. the only catch is if you are making speaker cables since this wire is only 2 conductor then you can only use 2 conductors of the nl4, which is fine unless you have your boxes biamped. but yes, you can use that wire in the rack.
