the horn length seems to be 2.15m, how did they fit the same length horn in a box 6" shorter than the WSX but practically identical otherwise?

It might just be a few inches shorter. In a cluster it wont be noticed audibly.

Labs where louder, went lower and had more headroom.

Sounded also better (not the same amoutn of THD than the 16 18") and the throw was just better.
