Hello

I have A EAW PA  and need some advice to get the best sound.
This is my gear.
2 EAW kf 300z  
2 EAW sb 150R
1 Ashly protea 4.24C processor.
1 yamaha 01v mixer.
1 Crown MT1200 for HF
2 Crown MT2400 bridged for MF
1 Crown CE4000 bridged for LF

The EAW kf 300z are:
200w, 8ohm at HF.
750w, 4 ohm at MF.
The EAW sb 150 are:
1000w 8 ohm at LF
Will it be better to use the CE4000 amp for MF widout bridged,and the MT2400 bridged for LF?

Is the CE-4000 on a 120V or 240V circuit?  Especially running it bridged, you will have better results with it on 240V.

If you change, you will have a db or so less level on the mids and a db or so more on the subs.

If you are currently running out of steam on the mids first, keep the setup you have.
If the lows go first, then switch.

You are underpowering those speakers. They are 200watts continuous. That is only about half of their true power. The highs  are 400watts program, 800peak. SO you could give them 400watts. I'd recommend a larger amp for everything.

Heres what I'd recommend using for amps:
for the highs: QSC PLX2402 425 @8 ohms stereo
Mids: QSC PL4.0 900watts
Lows: QSC PL4.0 or PL6.0 1150 watts
Sub: QSC PL6.0

Of course those are just my ideas. There are many other amps out there that will do the job. You want something that will do at least 2x the continuous power.

I want to know how you like your EAW sb150r's?

Do you use them for DJ or Performance?

I think the EAW sb 150 must be one of the best subs.  size and weight are light and big sound,but they need a amp that can do 1500W at 8 ohm to work properly.I play in a cover band. we often plays at small places,0-300 people, and there are always people that make comments that our sound is very good and asking what speakers we use.

Or you can use an amp that does 3000 watts into 4ohms bridged. The QSC PLX3002 would work perfectly.
