Best record/edit software for voice?
« on: June 15, 2004, 01:52:07 PM »

Hi,

I am going to record audiofiles (voice only) with my laptop and I wanted to know which software is the best for audio editing?
Between Adobe Audition, Sound Forge Screenblast, Cakewalk and Pro Tools which one would be the best fitted? My project is to record a sort of audiobook.
Any aditionnal advices appreciated!

Thanks a lot,
JP

JP,

for you purpose, every one of the programs mentioned will serve you well. Personally I have the most experience on ProTools, that's why I would choose it for the task.

I suggest you to ask further questions on recording software in the appropriate forums here:
