Frankly, I am a big Crest fan and I need an independed oppinion on this.

Have someone tried this sub?

My friend has Crest 9001 and 8001 amplifiers to power his bass system (4 18" Eighteensound subwoofers and 8 15" woofers).  The amps are very fast and powerful, so I would reckon this unit would be decent.  Just remember that you can't miniturize sound, so as a bass-reflex box; it will give you seom low end presence, but it won't pound your chest like some bass-horns will.

I think it is a Crest - Peavey venture.
