Gels & the war on color :)
« on: August 04, 2004, 11:43:26 pm »

Does anyone know of a conversion chart or cross-reference that will tell you the equivalent color numbers between Rosco and lee gels?

It’s a long story…

I don’t feel like matching my two swatch books and comparing color and graphs.  So if there was a chart that would tell me that L106 is the same as R26 etc.. it would be great.

I compiled one between that which was published in "Stage Lighting Revealed" by Cunningham, the Lee color conversion chart once available and other sources.  (If it's any help)  Looks better as a table but such is life.  Note also while Rx 27 is the same as Lee 27, other colors are unique and thus the difference in brand.  Or was it all a Gam conversion chart?
