Heads Up on W.A.S.P.
« on: August 03, 2004, 05:14:23 PM »

Just a heads up for you kids in club-land...

We just had W.A.S.P. blow through town, and what fun it was!  27 inputs (19 in drum world!) they only carry 57's for the toms, drum vox (headset) and Blackie's vox (58).  No engineers with them, but a tech rider asking for specific mics, inserts and effects.  Oh, and STOOPID loud onstage.  Better make sure you got plenty of steam behind your loudest wedges, plus a beefy drumfill and sidefill package.  Drummer has a rack to mix his own ears and needs 3 sends from monitor world.  3 downstage vox are on individual one foot high risers - have solid blocks or crates to get wedges up higher.  "Must have" a DDL for Blackie's vocal in the monitors, as well as house.

Bring earplugs.
