How do you unregister?
« on: June 12, 2004, 10:11:51 AM »

Hello,

I tried to unregister, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I read the FAQ's but didn't see anything obvious.

Great site, but it's like an addiction, I gotta go.

It seems like you should be able to just quietly disappear into the sunset. If you're concerned about leaving behind a profile, why not try editing all fields to null or nonsense data?

Dave or Ernie,

I'd still like to know how to unregister please.

By deleting all the fields, it just doesn't work.

What the hell...I'm stickin' around anyway.

I don't allow unregistration.  This is a professional forum and as such anything you post here will live in perpetuity in the archives.  If I allowed unregistration then there would either be posts littered with no authors, or those posts would be deleted.

Your only option is to stop participating.  As far as clearing the fields, that was never an option from PSW, only another poster.

I'm not taking down your posts or cancelling your account.
