LABHORN in UK
« on: June 05, 2004, 10:41:13 PM »

I have just started assembling my personal PA System  which will initially be playing 200 people venues.

My initial set will be as follows,

CD players,Mixer, EQ, Leveller, Active Crossover,

Yamaha Amp =>HIGHS       (HORN + 2 Bullet Tweeters)
CAUDIO Amp =>MIDS        {2x12 Front Loaded Horn)
QSC AMP ====>UPPER BASS  (Mogale HD15 - www.speakerplans.com)
CROWN 2400 =>SUB         (1xLAB or Scoop or Martin WSX/215 Copy)

Will a LAB each side work for me here, or do I need the complex delay setup and ACME MEGA Amp to make them sound good ?

Whats the highest I can cross LABS Over? (trying to cut out 15" and QSC on Upper bass).

Anyone know price of Lab12 Driver in UK? Can any one recommend good joiner/cabinet Guy in ESSEX/London UK?

Thanks for help in advance, No flames please, I don't smoke.

Hi,

I live near Slough and have got a few quotes from people to put these together.  i am currently waiting for a workshop to cut all the pieces for me.  email me off list and I will put you in touch with them.  Perhaps you would like to get together to assemble the things?
