SteveHo,

How well does the EV 218 sub keep up when you use 2 tops/side instead of one?

Also what amps are you using?

Thanks!

I work mostly as just engineer and not supplyer of gear. This is what I usually carry:

A drum mic bag that contains:
1x D6
1x D4
2x D2
1x D1
1x SM57
3x condensers (this varies, have tested some and I'll probably buy 3 oktaca MC012's soon).

A "not drum mic" bag that contains:
Some more SM57's
A bunch of OM2's
Some Beta 87's
Beta 58's
An Orchid DI and some Whirlwinds.

And then a rack with:
TC Mone
TC TripleC
PreSonus 2x31b eq (only 2HE, many ligts flashing = good)
And a Marantz CD..

this almost sounds like a mine is bigger than yours deal. of course the person with the most money doing this for the longest time is going to have all the disco stuff. cool question though it is neat to see what everyone else is using. i my self use the following.

MIXERS
(2)1 soundcraft 16 channel
  1 behringer 16 channel
AMPS
  (10) all qsc none less than 1500 watts
SPEAKERS
   (2)JBL sf25's
   (2)grund audio dual 18 subs
   (4)grund audio dual 8 mons
   (2)JBL 12 mons
   (10)grund audio dual 8 fills
RACK
   dbxdriverack pa
   dbx compressors
MICS
   (7)sm58
   (6)sm57
   (1)audix6 piece mic kit
   (1)audio technica 6piece mic kit
   (1)shure beta91a
   (2)behringer ecm8000
   (1)oktava mk319
and about 6 others not worth mentioning
TECH
1 laptop with sound forge, acid pro, fruity loops and sonar
1 dektop dito all and then some
LIGHTING
a whole lot of lights, and lazers, and spinning things. with of couse a programed controller
CABLEING
enough to cicle a city block or more, most of it nuetrick.

sorry that this is short explanation but i quickly realized how my 2 fingers would get tired of typing early on. my set up is a little od but some of it is permanent install at a bar and a large bit of it for mobil sound support. we are primarily set up to do bar gigs as that is the largest market in are area. we can also do demo recordings for bands, and also record all of the live events of the bands we do sound for. a lot of fun and all on a descent budget.     I LOVE MY JOB        late
