Scanner Movement IDEAS
« on: April 19, 2004, 11:43:38 AM »

Hey Lighting Gurus,

Just looking for a few ideas to add a little spice to my stage show for my band.

My use of this lighting rig is for the backline behind the band.

My Backline Rig:
16 - Par 38
2 - ADJ Scan 250

My main interest is to create some nice patterns for the
ADJ Scan 250 Scanners! Any Ideas

These units allow for all of the major colors as well as a strobe effect and all colors can be used as spots. These units also allow for 90 degrees movement Vertical and 180 Horizontal.

So what are you thinking?

Thanks in advance for your input on this question.

How you move your lights is as much a function of the capabilities of your controller as anything else.  The more powerful the board, the more you'll be able to do with the lights.  Some controllers allow fading so that both are doing the same thing, just slightly (or a lot) behind each other.  Some really don't have enough power to do anything beyond hitting a spot.  What controller are you using?
