okay I just got my first pair of the ULX-S in.. I'm going to run these with some ut's this weekend. I was hoping to get sures new SLX that just came out (i guess they are outphasing the uc series??) anyone have any input on the new sure line and the pro/cons?


for that matter.. besides having a metal case and auto tune.. are the ULX-P any better than the S?

The ULX-P systems come with a rack mount kit standard, and a big plus is 1/2 wave antennas for better reception. The new SLX systems(the latest tentative ship date is May 5) have 1/4 wave antennas like the ULX-S, but come with a standard rack mount kit and they allow you to move the antennas to the front of the unit w/o an add on kit. Besides the auto-synch feature the SLX transmitters run on AA batteries vs. the more costly 9V and have a longer run time.
