Any guys have a recent rider for REO and Styx ??
« on: April 16, 2004, 11:24:43 AM »

Hey guys.  Got REO and Styx to do this summer.  Haven't received the riders yet, but I wanted to get the jump on getting the extra gear booked early.  If any of you have a rider for either of them, could you supply me with a link or maybe email it too me??  It would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance!

We have Styx along with Frampton and Nelson coming to a venue we service, and as far as we've heard they're carrying production.

Hi Klark.

David is correct. They are a racks and stacks gig, unless they're doing amphitheaters, and then I believe they carry full production.

Trying to set the gig up without talking to the artist's staff is a dangerous thing the to do, particularly for acts that are touring at that level.  If a potential provider for one of our shows was posting on the Web for our specs a couple of months prior to the gig, it would send up some red flags.  Gigs don't get advanced until a couple of weeks beforehand (if you're lucky).  If it's an issue, I suggest either calling the agent or management (if you subscribe to Pollstar that info is pretty easy to come by) and ask them for current production contact info.  Even then, it's two or three months out and they might not be prepared to discuss it or even have final plans.
