A&H GL4000
« on: April 20, 2004, 11:58:16 AM »

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have an Allen & Heath GL4000 with some noisy outputs. Every once in a while we get a spike of static from the L/R outs like a bad connector. I can force it to happen with a little tapping or light pushing on the board near the L/R faders. I have checked and rechecked the connectors just to rule them out. I talked to A&H once and the tech told me to check the cards and re-seat them. Did that and it went away for a while but now it is back. I have a call into the A&H Tech but I was interested in knowing if anyone else has had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Any other Ideas? I really don't want to reseat cards every 6 months.
