Staging Suppliers in southern Germany
« on: April 16, 2004, 08:11:26 AM »

Greetings folks, nice digs you got here.

I'm putting together a small multi band festival for the US military community here in Stuttgart, tentatively planned for mid September and am having problems finding a staging supplier.  I did find one guy with a stage on a truck, but he wants ~$1300 per day.  Sounds pricey to me.  Otherwise, no dice.

For the last few years we have set up a small platform in one of the big fest tents, but this year I wanted to try a proper free standing stage with a roof, side skirts and wings for the speakers.  Probably something in the range of 6 meters wide by 3 meters deep with speaker wings 1 x 1.  The whole thing should be raised ~1 meter off the grass.

Duration would be setup on a thursday evening or Friday morning, and tear down on Saturday afternoon.

I've checked through Ken's Links but you can't sort through them by location.

Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Simon!

Since you are not getting much feedback here try posting over on the LAB Audioboard, I know that there are some Germans hanging around there.

Regards, Thomas (from Austria)
