OK, if we are posting a few pics here are some to look at.
I don't do a lot of smaller shows, but I needed to do a small rig a few years ago for a regional bar band on a small stage. Not having a lot of smaller cans available, I stood some single hung truss loaded with Par 64 cans around the stage (loaded with 500 watt mediums so as not to burn the musicians!) Not show in the pictures are two front pipe and base booms with 4 Par 64 1K cans and color scrollers on each side.

I liked the look of the single hung standing up so much that I incorporated it into a larger show at a theatre for Art Garfunkle. Not shown in the photo are the front lights which were 4 lamp bars with 20 Par 64 1K mediums, and 4 leko specials. The cable runs to the flying front lights can be seen at the rear of the stage on the left. Also not shown are the 3 Super Trouper follow spots that the symphony hall owns.
http://www.angelfire.com/biz/harborsound/images/Lights01.jpgHere is another smaller show we did. This is the band Everclear on a 20' X 16' roofed stage. There are 30 cans (5 lamp bars) and a few Par 46 "ACL type" bars (4 par 46 cans with 200 watt medium wired to one cable). We actually brought more lights, but the promoter didn't get the larger generator, so this is all we could hang and power. Note the color scrollers on the rear cans to give more color looks. Also note that one of the scroller cans blew a bulb during the gig! OOOOOOPS!
We had brought 2 Lycian Midgets for front follow spots but didn't have enough power for them!
