What mics do I use?

I am a dancer as well as a sound tech and I was wondering what to use to mic the floor when I dance. I'd be dancing on hard plastic with my tap shoes. Any help you can give would be nice.

Live It depends on your dist away.
maybe a sm-94

Record you could use the same but you don't have feedback issues so a good condenser mic in a shock mount would be good about >3 feet away.

For the fiddle and stepdance crowd, a Crown PCC on the floor in front of the dancers' feet is the usual solution.
