Thanks for the responce, however Lectrosonics is limited to a maximun of 8 systems that can be used together at a time.  I will need at least 12.  Price is not really an issue.

How did you determine the 700 series is limited to only 8 co-located systems? Lectro offers the 700 series in four 26.5MHz bandsplits: Spectrum availability notwithstanding, that's 106MHz of coverage. Even considering the greater occupied bandwidth of a 700 series channel, one can easily have a 12 channel system. I used to do a corporate with 14 channels  of 700 every year, quite successfully with plenty of capacity to spare.

Actually it was 2 different sourses at Lectrosonics who told me that.  They even said that by breaking it up into different blocks would not not help or allow me any additional usable channels.

We've been erring on the side of conservatism with this product in terms of what we tell customers is possible. There are certainly installations with more than 8 channels running.

In theory, theory and practice should be the same. In practice, they are not.

It's not actual "encryption", but the Line 6 mics use digital transmission, with frequency hopping, which would rule out recording from an analog scanner.

I think they claim up to 12 units operating together.

Actually it IS encryption ... but there is only one key.  Pretty much the only way you could pick it up is with a Line 6 receiver.  A scanner is not gonna do it.

This might be a solution for you.

Unfortunately, they sound like garbage and are only moderately frequency agile.

They're not hoppers, just multiple concurrent carriers.
