Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore died in Spain this weekend.

I did see him play but never worked with him. A friend of mine who's the production manager at a large venue in town and about as grizzled and cranky an ole' sound guy as you've ever seen had him in his club a few years back and texted me in the middle of the show about how he was completely burning it down.

That man made good music.
