The Lions &...
« on: October 11, 2011, 09:25:53 AM »

How about those Detroit Lions..?  Never thought I'd see the day that they could say they've won five games in a row. (or even three games in a row) They've been playing as a team.  Go Lions!  ;D

  and...

A Happy belated Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends!

   Cheers,
   Hammer

To be completely fair, they have actually won 9 games in a row dating back to last season and including the pre-season. I would say that team's culture of losing has been exorcised.

Not a Bears fan, but good lord, did the Bears offensive line miss the bus to Detroit? Cutler was on his back or running for his life all night; he also appears to be made of glass.

Congrats to the Lions!

It is nice to see the quarterback / receiver tandem from my state doing well - especially since they were bitter rivals across GA in college.  Stafford has done much better than I expected in the NFL and Calvin is amazing. Suh is just a beast.

It was a good game to watch, especially since I am not a big Cutler fan.  Congrats, Lions.

It's fun when the home team is winning.  Enjoy it!

(I think the Colts found Detroit's old mojo seeing how we're 0-5!)

As a life long Saints fan, I can relate. Good luck to the Lions!

Every team goes through this Steve and it's especially hard to watch when your QB is out for the season.

Good luck Lions fans, but before you get crazy consider the opponents played to this point. But, having said that it's nice to see a team turn around.

As one of the seven or eight Bears fans that live in Pennsylvania, I'm not all that keen on the rise of the Lions.

But then, I don't have any disdain for the Lions. That I reserve for the Cowboys.

The great thing about sports is, you can like or dislike something "just because".

Pats vs cowgirls on Sunday. The Pats aren't plating that well yet, but I'm sure they're playing well enough to beat any team from Texas.
