Has anybody used antares avp or tascam Ta?
« on: September 29, 2011, 09:44:46 PM »

I intend to get one of them to correct the pitch of some singers I manage the sound for. Nothing hard, just to be sure. I can´t decide between these two, I already used the antares, but the tascam is much newer and, perhaps, better?

You might find more people are familiar with the Antares. Its not that easy to use it on a singer cold. They seem to work a lot better if the singers get a chance to practice with them often.

No problem with that. I think the Tascam would suit better for me cause I have a LS9 and since I run short of inputs, the digital output would be great not to waste one input on the return. That´s because various vocal channles would be connected to the hardware.
