EV DeltaMax DMS-1181 sub opinions

Anyone have an informed opinion on these?
Looks to be none too efficient, at 94 dB 1w/1m,
but EV's specs say they're solid to 40 Hz.
I'm looking for a small box that goes deep.
Don't need loud so much.
