Unprocessed multitrack files
« on: January 29, 2011, 12:31:35 PM »

I just got my new LS9 a few days ago but I don't have a gig for a few weeks. I would really like to get in some practice with it before I take it to a gig.

I was wondering if there are any publicly available, unprocessed multitrack files floating around the web somewhere. I would like to play them through my soundcard into the LS9 as a sort of "virtual band".

I've found a few Guitar Hero rips but they've already been processed and compressed to hell.

Some well-known material would be great (Pixies, Talking Heads, Radiohead...) but mainly I'm just looking for quality recordings.

Under 16 tracks is ideal since that's what my soundcard can handle.

Thanks!

Haven't listened to any of these myself.

Look around the recording forum here:

Over there you can find some projects that they use for mixing competitions (or whatever they are called - IMP).

Problem with the IMP's is that they've been offline for a good chunk of a year

I didn't realize IMP upload/download server is not available ... Its been a while since I was there and at that time I download all old IMP archives that were still there. I think I still have some of them.
