What is the best way to markup DPA miniature mics and headsets with MicroDot connectors?
The cable is so damn thin that it is almost impossible to do anything..

I've seen a couple of methods:
1. A "flag" of tape near the connector, so that you can write on it.
2. A heatshrink label with really small print.  Clear heatshrink on top is preferred.

.... which is exactly how DPA puts a serial number on each mic.  Look closely at the little red sleeve.  Of course, you'll need a magnifying glass to be able to read it, so this method may not suit your purposes.
