I was asked my opinion on these wedges. I've not used JBL wedges befor let alone this particular model.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

It has the old baby-butt horn thing! Sweet.

Never used them.

So I'm guessing the are pretty antiquated?

Yes, they are antiquated, or "vintage", as we like to say ;)  That doesn't mean that they aren't a quality product and can't still do a fine job, especially at the right price!

I've used these and a similar box, SR 4722, back in "the day". Took quite a bit of EQ to get the "bite" out of the horn, but not a bad box.
