Hi guys.
I'm looking for some specification of Clair i5 and i3. Does anyone know anything about those enclosure? I mean: how many speakers are inside and what size (12in, 15in, or 18in?). What is theirs power rating?
My second question: How would you compare new Clair i218 and i212 to the I5 and I3. Does anyone have any experience with compare those boxes. Any input would be appreciated.

You might try a US Patent Office search for some insight into what Clair is doing.  What is inside and any external processing necessary to make it work is proprietary to Clair Global.

AFAIK, the i-series is not available for purchase except for permanent installations.  What is your interest in these products?

I'm very interested in Clair i212 and I want to compare with flagship I5. Is i212 similar to I5 or rather I3? I live in east europe and I have no chance to hear it.
Full story is that we're planning to buy a big (or large) system. Now we own EAW KF730&Bh760 with LabsFP10000Q. We're thinking of: d&b J or clair i212 (we can't afford a i218). Both have similar maximum output (i212-144dB, J-143dB), consist 2*12".I wonder which is more powerfull in real world. Which is better in rock, heavy music.

Actually Clair Systems is the people you want to talk to.
They manufacture the i212 and such. Here in the US at least, it is considered an install box.

Also I want to ask engineers, professionals who has experience with those systems (d&B J and Clair i212). What is your impression, what do you thing, what do you prefer.

The question you need to ask is of the purpose of the line array boxes you wish to employ: are they to be permanently installed or not?

While I have little experience on i5, I can say with certainty that i3 is a better box for loud and heavy rock than the i212.

Oh! does this mean that the i212 M version has been discontinued? Along with it's dolly and rigging system?

Touche.  I based my reply on conversations with multiple Clair guys about their unfimiliarity with any version of i212.

Touche.  I based my reply on conversations with multiple Clair guys about their unfimiliarity with any version of i212.

The i212 M is not discontinued, but is only sold as a "movable install box". Ex: Casino needs a rig that can be removed when needed. A regional sound company cannot buy a rig.  The only real difference for the "M" is handles and quick release pins instead of bolts.

There are legal agreements between Clair Global and Clair Systems restricting the Systems side from selling portable systems, as they could compete with the Global side.
