After market recone kits , good, bad, pathetic?
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:15:26 PM »

Someone recently posted a link to this outfit : .soundspeakerrepair.com and most of the testimonials on the site appear to be from a cost saving perspective which isn't really my prime concern versus fast delivery.  Can anyone chime in on the performance of their cone kits in the frames as compared to original JBL and EV parts?

Thanks

Some kits are decent, some kits will sound very different and won't last any reasonable amount of time. It's a crap shoot.

Go with original kits where possible.
