Hi, I am looking for a crossover for the following, could you recommend one please? I'm hoping I don't have to spend too much because I don't imagine the circuitry is too complicated? ie I'm happy to go with Behringer if it doesn't adversely affect the sound.

2 x RCF Art 722a tops
1 x RCF Art 905as sub

Obviously the RCF has a built in crossover, however this is redundant as I am feeding an auxillary mix to the sub because I don't want to send the vocal mics to the sub.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

James, If you need just a basic Hi/Lo cut filter, have you tried the one built into the PLX 3602 ? Check page 6 of the user manual.

Being that all hardware is not created equally I'll say that low priced units are popular for that fact and that fact alone. Spend a slight bit more money on your crossover and be happy with the sonic differences you'll find when compared any Behringer or low quality crossover. You'll find few crossovers that can equal the DBX or Ashly units. I own an Ashly 2001 which I keep in my rack even though it's not used anymore. I keep it to back up my driverack 260 and 480 units. So, DBX or Ashly with a sonic edge to the Ashly units overall.
