Powering up a church sound system
« on: July 26, 2011, 02:40:18 PM »

We have a sound system that using a Furman to power the system in sequence.  Our Aviom i16/-m pops when powered up in the sequence.  it powers after the Crown amps.  I would like to change the sequence such that the amps power up last.  My theory is that the pop will not occur if the amps are cold when the Aviom system powers up.  Aviom says this will work.  Does anyone know why an amp would be set up to turn on before the Aviom system turns on?
