It's been ten years for me, but expect a full load, including 8 keyboards (16 DIs).  Two key players with 4 keys each = can't do a show without it :-)

Maybe it's changed over the last decade.

Good luck.

If your client doesn't have a rider, I'd be asking if they REALLY signed the contract and sent the deposit.

I appreciate your interest Tim. Contract is signed. I figured somebody on here could get it to me quicker then going through my client who is going through another client, who is going through another client......etc...etc...

I guess I misjudged the forums!

I wouldn't trust a rider obtained through other channels than the official chain of command for the specific gig in question...

You might find their rider is a little bit smaller these days, than say ten years ago.  I would get their management contact and just email them, a band at this level is sure to have something or at least someone that can verbally give you the heads up.

I'm not trying to be unhelpful... it's just that after 30 years in this business this is a BIG RED FLAG that someone's not being fully up-front and forthcoming.

That there are layers of "clients" involved only reinforces that gut reaction.

Good luck.

I wouldn't be so quick to get snippy about pragmatic replies from experienced and knowledgable industry professionals.  Tims response is right on.  If you're not receiving the information you need to do your job in a professional manner it is legitimate to suppose that the people with whom you are dealing are not fully professional.

Something smells in such scenarios.

+1.   Even if everything for your gig is straightforward and on the up and up, you should be getting the rider from band's management through your client, not on a forum.    The rider the band used last month might not be the one they are using for your gig.
